BLESSED ASSURANCE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

 

 

 

The School was established with the aim of enrolling numerous chilren roaming aimlessly in our neighbourhood, New Fadama, Accra with non availability of any of the Day Care Centres in the community, which worsened the plight of workking mothers, who do not have any suitable and safe place to leave their children in order to attend to their various businesses during the day. The Proprietress, Mrs. Beatrice Annoh therefore decided to turn part of their residence into a Nursery Home on the 3rd day of February, 1987 with two boys.

 

The School was registered with the Registrar General Department, Accra on the 10th day of March, 1988 with Registration No. (BN-67, 641A) and was given the name PEACE AND LOVE DAY NURSERY. Due to the hard work and dedication of the Proprietor and Proprietress, the enrollment rose from two children to eighty children. Based on that, they thought it wise not to let go the knowledge impacted in the children, so they added Primary and Junior High School(J.H.S.) and also registered on the 29th day of February, 2007 with the Regristration No. (AMA/ED/PJS266) and the name was further changed from PEACE AND LOVE DAY NURSERY to BLESSED ASSURANCE SCHOOL since we were being blessed.

 

The School has had many achievements which would be outlined later. We now want to go international and affiliate with other schools around the world which would assist us to achieve our aim, which is to become one of the Best Ten(10) Basic Schools in Ghana. Due to this, the school in now called BLESSED ASSURANCE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL and our motto is "ARISE AND SHINE".

 

Currently, the School can boast of a magnificent Three-Storey building from Primary One up to J.H.S. 3 and Two SStorey from Nursery One(N1) up to Kindergarten Two (KG2), which is to be continued to a Three Storey building. Presently, we have a population of about 608 children and a Staff strength of 38.
